A Little Ray of Giving

A little Ray of giving is Ray White’s very own community charity initiative where offices across Australia and New Zealand get behind disadvantaged families in our local communities and put a smile on their faces at Christmas time.

Each year over 400 families need to stay at a Ronald McDonald House over Christmas while their child is in a hospital away from home. These families are away from their support network of family and friends and often don't have time to think about Christmas presents.

Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home and a safe haven for the families of the sick children who are up on the wards in Auckland Hospital. Though the average length of stay is seven days, many families will need to stay for weeks, or even months on end.

Supporting Ronald McDonald House with A Little Ray of Giving will bring the magic of Christmas
to many families this holiday season.

The team at Ray White Damerell Group have their roots deep within the community and strive to bring joy to the families that fill our surrounding suburbs. Participating in the campaign for the fourth year, Ray White Damerell Group is encouraging locals to donate gifts under the Christmas tree in the Ponsonby Road office.

Last year, with the help of the community, the Ponsonby Road office collected nearly five hundred presents. At the time, Ray White Damerell Group's CEO, Simon Damerell applauded the effort of the team and the local community for their generosity. "At Ray White Ponsonby, we have a number of events and causes that we actively get behind. The Little Ray of Giving is just one of many," Simon smiles.

How can you help?

Bring your gifts to the Ray White Damerell Group office, located on Ponsonby Road and place them under the Christmas Tree. The team will deliver them to the Auckland Ronald McDonald House.

If you're looking for gift ideas, vouchers are great for any age group and are really easy for families to take home. Children aren't the only ones who deserve Christmas presents. Gifts for babies, teenagers, mums and dads are also greatly needed.

Ray White Damerell Group looks forward to sharing with you the gift of giving this Christmas and helping those in our local community who are in need to have a brighter festive season.
